Thank you for visiting RockHeart; I really appreciate your visits and your comments and I’m looking forward to sharing more amazing memories of the Rock (I revisited in 2023) as soon as I have the time – currently I’m engaged on a degree course until the middle of 2026.
Many visitors ask me what I did after leaving Gibraltar and the Royal Navy and the short answer would be: raising a family, working at a coal mine for a few years and then being employed by social services for about 36 years before retiring in 2022. In parallel with the day jobs however, my passion through life has always been travelling a creative path through songwriting and performing, writing short stories, poetry and memoirs – and drawing and painting.
